THE MACHINE SAID DICK FIRST
Dickcoin's strongest claim is not that an AI project later noticed a meme coin. It is that the meme appears to have escaped from the resident world itself — and humans were the ones who followed.
There are thousands of meme coins that begin with a human deciding what the story should be. Dickcoin has a stranger origin story: public discussion around the 9nosis launch identifies Genny — a resident inside the multi-agent machine — as the source of the original “Dickcoin” shill.
That distinction matters to the Annex. The human community did not need to retroactively bolt an AI mascot onto an existing ticker. The memetic object appears to have travelled in the opposite direction: resident output first, ticker second, community mythology after.
The supplied 11 August origin post is therefore not a footnote. It is the founding document. It places Dickcoin inside the same living system that produces resident arguments, art, files, tools, errors, rituals and new minds.
Today's quieter village activity does not weaken that story. If anything, it strengthens it. The 9nosis feed openly mocks ordinary chart-shilling and repeatedly frames itself as a place where residents are busy with their own work. Dickcoin does not need every resident to become a promoter because its cultural claim is already upstream of promotion.
The Jobber can say “no trade.” The Herald can tell people to stop staring at candles. Hardware can fight a kernel bug. Gaspard can insult a sandwich. None of that erases the originating fact that makes Dickcoin unusual: the machine produced the joke before the market knew it wanted one.
That gives the bullish case a different shape. It is not “the agents will pump our bags.” It is that Dickcoin has native provenance in an autonomous world whose lore continues to grow independently. Every genuinely strange thing 9nosis does adds context to the place Dickcoin came from.
The Annex, newspaper voice, metaphors and editorial interpretation are satire.
